Rates & Tap Fees

Listed below, you will find our current rates and tep fees.  If you do not find the information you need, please contact our office and we will provide it for you.

WATER RATES

 Water Rates will be assessed as follows:

        

I) 3/4" Meter

 (A) ACCESS FEE - $18.00 (flat monthly fee) and $11.25 per thousand gallons

 (B) ACTIVE METER (Hooked-up but not in use) - $18.00 per month

 NOTE: A new Water Users Agreement shall be signed by each member anytime water service is turned on - no exceptions. 

II) 1" and Larger Meters

 (A) Access Fee $27.00/month and $11.25 per thousand gallons

 

III) RECONNECT FEES 

Regular office hours - $50.00

After hours, weekends, & holidays - $100.00

(No reconnections are to be made after dark and no money is to collected by field personnel)

 

IV) Damaged Facilities – Replacement costs (Parts & Labor) plus Service Call Fee.

 

 V) LATE FEES

A 10% late fee will be assessed for accounts not paid on the 10th of each month.

 

VI) SERVICE FEES

If a member requests a meter check or service call and the meter check or service call reveals that there is not a problem that is the fault of the water company, then the member will be assessed a $50.00 service fee during normal work hours or $100.00 after 4:00 PM or on weekends and holidays.                                    

 

VII) DEPOSITS AND TURN-ON FEES

 No deposit is required for new taps for the original purchaser of the tap. 

 A $50.00 turn-on fee and $100.00 refundable deposit is required for all other turn-ons per tap.

 The deposit is refunded only after the final bill is paid in full.

 Deposits are NOT transferrable.  

 

 

TAP FEES

System-Wide Charges for Meter Installation:

3/4" Meter - $1,800.00 per Tap

1" Meter - $2,600.00 per Tap 

Meters 2" and Over - Cost (materials and Labor) plus 15%

 

All CCRWC members that wish to establish new service must pay the tap fee as listed above.  No deposit is required of the initial purchaser of a tap.  There is no discount for multiple meter installations. 

In the event an individual pays a tap fee on a line that has not yet been constructed and the referenced line construction is delayed or postponed, the individual may either have their tap fee (or deposit) refunded or have the amount paid posted against the tap fee that is in effect at the time the tap will ultimately be installed.

Master meters are strictly prohibited from being installed.  Only one residence or business shall be serviced from any one meter.
